Description
The Beatles "I Want WTo Hold Your Hand" b/w "I Saw Her Standing There", Capitol Records 5112, with original picture sleeve. Original 1964 release, NOT a reissue. Paul McCartney's lit cigarette is present on the picture sleeve (it was air-brushed out on the 1984 and'94 reissues). The first pressings of this record, such as the one offered here, are identified by the "Walter Hofer" publishing credit on the "I Saw Her Standing There" side of the disc.
(Second pressings of this record identify the B-side publisher as "George Pincus & Sons Music Corp.")
First printings of picture sleeve do NOT use periods in the abbreviations REG U S PAT OFF in the Capitol logo. The vinyl is in very near mint condition, no scuffs or scratches, very clean and glossy. Labels are in near mint condition, clean, no writing or other markings, extremely light scuffing only. Original picture sleeve is in excellent condition, no seam splits, no writing or markings, a few wrinkles, looks like there was a staple removed from one of the upper corners. Hard to find one this clean, so please bid with confidence, as I have 100% feedback rating.
