The Beatles I Want to Hold Your Hand West Coast Picture Sleeve & 45 RPM Record

In this auction:

• “I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND” b/w “I SAW HER STANDING THERE” by The Beatles

• This is Capitol Records 5112.

• This record was issued December 26, 1963.

• The VINYL RECORD in this auction is the FIRST PRESSING. We know this because “Walter Hofer” is listed as the publisher on the B-side label.

• It is a WEST COAST/TAB-CUT PICTURE SLEEVE.

• The PICTURE SLEEVE is in NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) CONDITION with just some VERY LIGHT bends/folds at the top opening keeping me from grading it NEAR MINT. It is a VERY FLAT sleeve. It looks like a record has never even been inside the sleeve, as there is NO disc impression at all.

• The VINYL is in VG CONDITION with a number of very light surface hairlines/scuffs. (NONE are “feel-able”). The number “25” is written in marker on the B-side label.

• The VINYL was pressed at Capitol’s Scranton Plant. Therefore, the East Coast record is not properly matched to this West Coast picture sleeve.

• This RECORD is SIGNIFICANT, because it is a FIRST PRESSING of THE BEATLES’ HIT SINGLE “I Want To Hold Your Hand”, the song that catapulted them to the top of the U.S. Record Charts!!!

Perhaps you have a West Coast pressing of the vinyl to go with this REALLY NICE West Coast picture sleeve.

Mint (M or MT) to VISUALLY GRADE this LP, so please know the descriptions of these grades before
