Description
Up for sale is a promo copy of the 2014 11-LP The Beatles In Mono Box Set.
This sale includes the box set, which comprises 11 vinyl albums, a 108-page hardbound book and a promotional leaflet. I'm also including the original press release that was sent out with the box. The set includes the outer cardboard sleeve.
PLEASE NOTE: The albums are in resealable plastic sleeves. Unlike the stereo box, they are not sealed in shrinkwrap.
This is a promotional copy and is identical to the set that was offered for sale in stores at the time. Promo copies are typically early pressings made when the vinyl stampers were newer and less worn, and so may be more desirable to collectors. Aside from this, there is nothing different about this pressing.
The White Album has the serial number 9007652. It includes the poster and four headshots of each Beatle.
Condition: The records are unplayed and in their resealable plastic sleeves. The book is still sealed. The box shows some signs of shelf wear but is overall in very nice condition. Please review the photos, as they are part of the description.
The outer sleeve for the box has no tears.
PLEASE NOTE: It requires patience and care to remove the outer sleeve, as it is very tight around the box. Push it up from the bottom, then gently pull the top end of the sleeve on each side — left, right, left, right, etc.— to inch it off of the box. Give the box top a gentle push downward from time to time as you lift off the sleeve. It tends to ride upward, which impedes the sleeve's removal.
