The Beatles Introducing The Beatles LP - 1964 1st Vee Jay Tracks A6 & B1 Repress Merry Christmas BEATLES Lovers!!! This listing is for the debut album by The Beatles. Released under the name Introducing The Beatles in the United States and pressed in June, 1963, but not released until January, 1964, due to internal problems at Vee Jay Records. Vee Jay was not licensed to release tracks A6 and B1, and was forced to repress the album, replacing these tracks. Track A6: From "Ask Me Why" To "Love Me Do" and Track B1: From "Please, Please Me" To "P.S. I Love You". Front Cover: "introducing... The Beatles Englands No.1 Vocal Group". Label catalog number printed on the front cover: "LP 1062". Label catalog number printed on the back cover: "VJLP 1062". Label catalog number printed on the labels: "VJLP1062". Oval Vee Jay Logo. Made in Great Britain Inner Sleeve. Runout (A [Etched]): 63-3402-1 URJ Runout (B [Etched]): 63-3403-1 URJ Kept in Protective Sleeve (see pics). Vinyl - Very Nice with shine (see pics). A record collector thought this should be posted:  I think that you should mention that this is a version 1 cover with a early version 2 oval VeeJay label record. I believe this is a mistake from the factory ! The cover and record are each scarce in their own right - but what is the real value of them together as a mistake? I'll can't wait to see :)
