Description

Beatles VEE-JAY LP, 'Introducing the Beatles' . the first record company to gain the rights to issue the Beatles recordings in the USA. This record has been played a thousand times and obviously provided much enjoyment, but it only makes G condition due to it having many, many fine and heavier lines and scuffs. It does play through with an almost reasonable sound quality. Many ticks pops and clicks are heard throughout and a fair bit of noise between tracks too. The labels are quite good with light wear only. There are numbers and letters etched into the runouts. Side one is 63-3402-1, and side two has 63-3403, and also URJ in very tiny letters both sides. This record would be the equivalent of 'Please Please Me' without  'Love Me Do' and ' PS I Love You', so ten tracks instead of twelve. The cover is a two third gatefold with wear around the edges, heavy wear on the spine and lighter wear on the rear. Still holding together OK and reasonably presentable in my opinion. The inner paper sleeve appears to be the original.
I have no idea if this copy is the first to be issued on this label....I started glazing over reading all the information about VJ American releases so if you're familiar with the facts you'll know if this LP is worth anything in this condition or worth anything for that matter. International post is expensive as the package weighs over 500 grams.
