Description
The Beatles: Let It Be (Stereo LP) Apple Records, AR 34001 Red Label, with Maggie Mae label error
Matrix side 1: "Phil + Ronnie, JS-17,500 -12 #2" Matrix side 2: "Phil + Ronnie, JS-17,501 -12 #3" (each has the small "Bell Sound" after these)
This is the first US pressing, with the Red Apple label, and the error on Maggie Mae, incorrectly listed as "P.D." (for "public domain", an error corrected on later pressings; see my detail photo of my record label). Near mint, still has the shrink wrap on the cover, the gatefold version, which has never been opened due to the plastic shrink wrap. The lp is also like new.
Note: I bought this in 1976 at a record store (Odyssey Records) I was managing, it was one of a couple of Beatles lps I didn't have (got it for "The Two of Us" and "Across the Universe"); this was long before any fakes or counterfeits of this, rest assured it's an original. I only bought for my massive collection (over 3500 lps), not for later resale, most of my lps got played less than a handful of times. We have a 100% feedback rating, all our lps are immaculate or they don't get put on sale.
