Item Description & Condition:
Released by Parlophone, UK 1964 – almost 52 years ago - this Third Issue vinyl 45 is on the BLACK Parlophone Record Labels with Silver Printed text, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd....’ label rim and With ‘Recording First Published 1962’, With ‘Ardmore & Beechwood Ltd’ publishing credits and the introduction of Sold In UK Label Text.
Both record labels are in Excellent condition, there is NO fading to the Black background and NO fading to the clear Silver Printed Text, there are just a few light centre spindle lines to both record labels.
Side 1stamped matrix. 7XCE 17144-1 N. and Side 2. 7XCE-17145-1 N.
Side 1 stampers. MPZT 1 A D. and Side 2. MPZT 1 R H Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in Excellent condition, beautiful, bright unworn vinyl surfaces, with no deep scratches or scuffs, showing just a couple of light insignificant surface hairlines, otherwise a beautiful disc.
Play Quality:
The single plays well through both tracks without skips, clicks or pops and with none of the usual background noise.
The Vinyl 45 comes in its original Green Parlophone Company Sleeve, which is in very nice Excellent Plus condition, showing just light creasing, there are NO seam splits, tears, or hand writing.
A superb example of this rare 1964 UK Beatles debut single first release back in 1962.
