The Beatles ‘ WITH THE BEATLES stereo PCS 3045
First Pressing LP with label mistakes on side 2. ‘You Really Gotta Hold On Me’ (also on the back cover) and ‘Jobete’ credit for ‘Money’.
Side 1: YEX 110-2 (2 RM)
Side 2: YEX 111-2 (1 GT)
Both LABELS are excellent+, very minor spindle markings, with KT embossed on side 2.
The LP itself is also EXCELLENT. Visually very clean with just a few minor surface scratches and scuffs. On Playback, loud and clear with near silence between tracks. Excellent audio.
The Garrod & Lofthouse tri-flipback cover has a small stereo on the front. The previous owner maintains this is the original cover the record was purchased in despite the fact that normally first pressing LPs were in covers with a large ‘stereo’ on the front. It’s possible that this vinyl from 1963/4 was only matched up with a cover at a later date.
The cover itself has some laminate creasing on the front with slight corner and edge wear. The back has signs of discolouration and a stain mark on the right side. A very good example of a cover with some imperfections but still a good, strong example from almost 50 years ago.
The inner EMITEX opaque sleeve is intact and a very good example.
