Description
The Beatles’ second album issued in 1963 sold by the millions to a U.K. audience so enthusiastic about the band that a new word was coined — “Beatle mania.” This is the rare 1969 UK fourth pressing on the black and yellow Parlophone label with Gramophone Co perimeter label text but without Sold In The UK. This was one of the last pressings to use the black and yellow design. Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. laminated cover with small “stereo” on front, and on the back the mis-printed "you really gotta [correct: got a] hold on me.” Composer of 'Till There Was You' Meredith Willson, incorrectly spelt Wilson on label. Sepia “LP advertising” inner sleeve. Without tax code.
