DESCRIPTION: The Beatles - Let It Be. 1st UK press vinyl with matrix ending 2U/2U, sleeve with red apple to rear and BOX only from box set. No tray or booklet. Original UK 1st Press, plays very near to EX. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Apple PCS 7096 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER/BOX): VG/VG/VG: Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and quite a lot of light brushing and hairlines. Played in its entirety today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds very near to excellent with only an occasional non-repetetive tick. It plays through great with no jumps,skips or sticks. If it had not played so well i probably would have listed this as G+. Visually its nearer G, audio wise, its quite near to EX. Music is clear and loud with good seperation. Cover is firm and square and has light to moderate edgewear, heavy cornerwear and a bit more than moderate creasing. You can see it has some "chipping" to edges. Ive made no attempt to conceal these by blacking them in, you might want to do that yourself, if so inclined. Like the record, its not top end VG by any means. The Box also scrapes into a VG with moderate wear (heavy to corners), a few chips to the edges and 2 drawing pin punctures- again ive made no attempt to hide these. What you get here is the original UK 1st press vinyl, sleeve and box, not something partly made up by Italian repro merchants. Nice clean labels. Remember, no tray or booklet. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Please note that packed this weighs over 570gm so postage is as for a double and includes full insurance. I will pack with custom stiffeners placed inside the box to reduce any flattening during the journey. UK delivery is next daywith full insurance and is £9.95 not £7.50 so please wait for invoice. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
