Description

An original 1st press of LIB on the UK Apple label. Matrix 2/2 - very 1st cut. Anyone familiar with this title will be aware of the box set PSX 1  which were the elaborately packaged 1st issue copies. The package consisted of 1 X Box/Tray, 1 X Record+Cover, 1 X Book. Please note that the box/tray offered, here, is not an original copy it is a REPRODUCTION and it doesn't seem to have the slip-over sleeve/cover - it's just the box/tray. The record cover is genuine 1st issue with ultra-thin spine and the red-apple logo on the rear [which was soon discontinued]. The book appears to be original as well.
Vinyl (Vg+/Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection we could make out a few light marks either side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a varying level of playback between VERYGOOD+ & NEAREXCELLENT. Much of the LP plays back very nice and clean with not much to find fault with. But a few of the tracks exhibit a touch of light static in places. At no point is this either invasive or persistent. It's just some parts of the LP play cleaner than others. Overall it's still a very solid and enjoyable rendition of this now very sought after release.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has been cared for down the years. Very nice clean front and rear without creasing or laminate lift. There's just a touch of left-over sticker residue down at the foot - but it really is very minor. There's a bit of edge wear, but nothing that significant. The spine is pretty much all still intact and the text all legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Book (Ex) Looks in great shape. The pages don't appear to be heavy thumbed. One very small signature on an inside page. Otherwise a great looking example.
Tray/Box (Ex) Kind of irrelevant as it's brand-new. No issues or tears. Aok
