Description

An original late-2nd Press of LIB on the UK Apple label from 1971. Matrix 3U/3U. The vinyl comes housed in a Garrod & Lofthouse cover with pinched spine [as per the early copies]. Also included is the original Apple inner sleeve [as were used at the 2nd issue stage]. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In very nice condition indeed and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we can make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with great clarity. The audio quality is excellent as you would expect from one of these early copies. Interference is very minor and infrequent. All we detected was a couple of crackles in a few isolated moments. Rest assured this a very nice player and manages to deliver an impressive rendition from start to finish.
Cover (Ex) Has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front and rear with just some light creases evident. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity and lies nice and flat. A lovely early example.
Inner (Vg+) Some ageing at the extremeties. No side splits.
