Description

Up for Sale is The Beatles 'Let It Be Naked,' LP + Bonus material contained in a 7" entitled 'Fly On The Wall. Also included with the package is a booklet that describes the creative process and interesting anecdotes about the sessions leading up to the controversial 1972 album 'Let It Be.' In a collaborative effort spanning some 5-7 years, a great amount of recordings were remastered of the outtakes and curious band member interaction during this tense period that culminated in the Beatles split. Not satisfied with what some consider was the overly produced album of 'Let It Be,' which showcased a lot of Phil Spector's studio wizardry, many fans had long petitioned for the album to be rereleased containing a more authentic and natural sounding Beatles, with stripped down versions of the well beloved songs of their final album.  *The full length lp was never played all the way through, which renders it to be practically in mint or new condition. The 7" Fly On The Wall bonus has been reviewed prior to auction, and what I consider to be a manufacturing flaw is a skip on the second track of Side 1 of the Bonus album on the song 'Because I Know You Love Me.' That being said, the tracks on the 7" disc are very clean and play perfectly. Enjoy this historical treasure, which was released a little over 10 years ago and will soon become a collectible. The Album, book and bonus 7" disc are all kept in the original shrink rap meaning that the gatefold has never been folded open. The gatefold cover and all items therein are protected by a standard Japanese style plastic cover.
