Description
THE BEATLES - "GOLD BOX" LIMITED EDITION 0444 of 4000.
Up for auction is the limited edition of 4000 gold box set of "The Beatles Collection" number 0444 of 4000. The set comes with the original certificate with the facsimile signatures of each of the Beatles members and is stamped "No 0444" OF 4000. Refer to photo.
This set has been in storage for a number of years and was recently "dug" up from storage. The LPs are in very good condition with minimum to no visible scratches and the covers are general in very good condition. I have gone through each LPs and its cover and graded them as per the reference table below.
The original gold box has seen better days. The base and lid of the box is bound at each corner with tapes, and some gold foil are peeling off. Refer to Photo.

Grading (Not SOUND GRADING, Visually graded only)
MINT: It describes open but un-played vinyl.
NM: Vinyl is still be bright and appear as new or little played.
E: Vinyl is still be bright with having few light scratches or no scratch on it.
VG: Vinyl was frequently played with few minor scratches or marks on it but played well with no any skips.
FAIR: Several scratches or marks on it that cause skips when playing through the significant scratches or marks.
Album Cover Grading
SS (STILL SEALED): Album is still in the factory-applied shrink-wrapping.
M (MINT): Absolutely perfect.
NM (NEAR MINT): Very minor signs of wear or cover impressions. Artwork is as close to perfection as possible.
E (EXCELLENT): Minor disc impression or slight corner creases, no wrinkles, puckers, seam splits or writing on the cover. Artwork is clean and unworn and there is no ink wear.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS): Cover is clean but may have minor writing or marks and may show slight wear.
VG (VERY GOOD): Covers are worn and used.
G (GOOD): Several - but not all of the following flaws will apply: Seam splits, large marker writing, major seam splits, significant ring wear, damaged corners, tears, cuts, gouges, masking or duct tape seam repairs, or other flaws and damage.
