Description

Beatles "Live From The Sam Houston Colosseum" Aug. 19, 1965 / 2 LPs, 24 tracks, Audiofon. Afternoon and evening shows, 1 per LP. A note RE: the audio fidelity - The mix sounds like it is off the vocal monitor feed - the vocals / harmonies are up front, then the instruments - except GH's guitar, which is often more prominent - followed by the instrumental mix, then the dull but ever-present roar of the crowd, which is always there but not as obtrusive as the Hollywood Bowl or Shea Stadium recordings. Best described as a clean, raw mix that favors the vocals, then the instruments. Vinyl on both discs is NM-; they are VERY clean, just an occasional hint of surface noise / Single pocket cover is VG+/+ with light edge wear, 2 light sticker stains, upper right corner.
