Description
The Beatles Low Number '0003908' White Album - U.S. Issue with Correct Inserts.
Complete with Photo Inserts stamped 'Made in USA' & U.S. Poster - This differs from it's U.K. counterpart in that it's laminated on one side rather than matt i.e. shiny & also stamped 'Made in USA'.
The poster doesn't appear to be ripped, but does appear to have been reinforced on the edges with clear tape - It's a very curious effect.
Top Opening Sleeve Number 0003908 is Very Clean in Very Good Condition. The Spine is Very Good as are the Bottom Edges - But the Top Edges have Small Splits (shown in pictures) which is common to U.S. Issues.
The Original U.S. White Album is also side opening & does not open at the top - This is correct for this issue.
There appears to be one Original White Inner & one Non-Original Inner.
I have playtested the vinyl, it plays really well with good clean sound - I would also put money that it is technically different to its UK counterpart - Although I am Pleased to say, It Sounds Fab!
Please note, while listening to this album has been one of the highlights of my life so far, there is a tiny 'jump' at the beginning of 'Back in the USSR' and again at the start of 'Birthday' - I am tempted to say that these two small imperfections almost improve the record, falling as they do in such serendipitous fashion - However that would be pushing it a bit to far, and the small jump alas, cannot be considered an improvement.
However- Apart from these two tiny jumps, the rest of the album is in fine order, with good clear sound, no jumps or skips.
Visually the Vinyl is in VG with some playwear & light wispy marks evident, but largely unaffecting the sound.
This is what I would consider a good everyday player - With Inserts & a Low Number Sleeve.
3 SWBO - 1 - 101 - J 40 2 SWBO - 2 - 101 - J 40 1 SWBO - 3 - 101 - J 40 1 SWBO - 4 - 101 - J 40 2
While not a Mint Set - This Set is in Good Condition with a Rare Low Number Sleeve - The Original Inserts are in Good Condition. The Vinyl, which has been playtested, is also in Good Condition.
Also comes with a few hand-typed lyric sheets for a good old sing-song round the campfire (see pics)!
