Description
This box set is from my wife's personal collection and owned since 1982. Whereas the set is not in pristine, mint condition it is in good/very good condition.The inside front cover of the art work booklet, as seen in photos, has a presentation message. Not played excessively, some albums hardly ever, and not at all for fifteen years. Only ever played carefully and on good turntable equipment. Vinyl is in very good condition. The sleeves are good but there is some wear on the top corners - see photo. The case has some marks and knocks here and there but only minor and there is oxidation on the hinges - see photos. The artwork booklet is also included with a COA from MFSL showing that this is item no. 9917. The Geodisc is also present. Released with much anticipation in early October 1982, The Collection was lauded by critics and Beatles fans worldwide for the superb sound, and sold-out completely within the first year. Each album was pressed on black vinyl by the Victor Company of Japan. The album covers were replaced with photographs of tape boxes and log sheet. The original album covers were included in a booklet which also featured a certificate of authenticity as this was a limited edition collection.
