Description

This is an original copy of the fisrt ever record by The Beatles released in North America in April of 1962. It is on Decca label (31382) and is a pink label promotional copy. The songs were recorded in Hamburg, Germany in 1961. The Beat Brothers is The Beatles with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison & Pete Best. Stuart Sutcliff was a member of the band but did not play on this record. Polydor did not think the name Beatles was marketable in America and suggested it be changed to the Beat Brothers. When someone walked into Brian Epstein's NEMS record store in Liverpool and asked for this record it prompted Epstein to go find out who this band was. He found them a few blocks away at the Cavern Club and signed on as their manager. The rest, as they say, is history! Both sides of this record play all the way through without skips or pops and sounds great!  I grade the record at VG-. Listen to both sides from start to finish and hear how it sounds. The labels have wear and Bonnie wrote her name on one side and her phone number on the other. Look at the pictures to check the label condition. There is a Decca company sleeve in decent condition included. Also a CD-R copy included. Own a piece of Beatles history that will only go up in value! Copies of this record are very limited and very hard to find. I will ship free to USA, conus. No shipping to Italy.
