Incredibly rare D.J. radio station promotional copy of The Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour" with a "FREE" perforated punch in the upper right-hand corner of the front cover. A promo copy of this album indeed comes across rarely and the copies I've seen were the West Coast pressings having a perforated punch reading "PROMO". The East Coast promotional copy with a perforated "FREE" punch is significantly rarer. Original cardboard gatefold cover has inside a 24-page color booklet in pristine condition. The left panel of interior gatefold has a typical feature of the East Coast pressing with the "No You're Not" title written in the same typeface as "Little Nicola". 1st print black rainbow label without the subsidiary print. Monophonic labels with the catalog number MAL-2835 and all BMI credits on Side 1, unlike the second pressing which has only one BMI credit on Side 1. The cover is graded as Excellent because it doesn't have any flaws aside from some light age shelf wear. The booklet inside is in Near Mint Minus condition just like the rest of the interior. The booklet is fully attached to the cover and intact without having any missing pieces, splits or tears. The majority of these covers are found with a lot of wear and ring wear. However, this cover has a minimum amount of wear and scuffing with a very light barely noticeable ring wear. There are no splits or writing. The labels are in Near Mint Minus condition with the vinyl being somewhere between strong Very Good Plus and Excellent Minus having only a few very light surface hairlines and scuffs from the original Capitol Records white paper inner sleeve in Near Mint Minus condition that comes with the album. The vinyl plays amazing with a crisp soft Monophonic sound and doesn't have any skips, pops or ticks, barely having any background noise, perhaps only some light one during the quiet passages which is most likely just static and will go away completely if the record is professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine.
