Description
This is a very nice stereo Britsh pressing of The Beatles “Magical Mystery Tour” as issued on yellow vinyl on Parlophone (PCTC 255). I believe this was issued sometime around 1980. The record is in very good condition with no scratches or scuffs. Both sides play with some low-level surface noise which is primarily audible between tracks. Side two contains the usual pseudo-stereo mixes common for this release. There are a few light ticks and there is some light surface noise at the beginning of The Fool on the Hill. The non-glossy gatefold cover is in excellent condition with no seam splitsor tears but does have some very minor ring wear. There is a small compression on the corners. The booklet is stapled inside the jacket and is in very nice condition with no bends, tears, or creases. Although I have only included two photos of the booklet, it is complete. I have cleaned it with a VPI record cleaner and an Audio Desk ultrasonic record cleaner, treated it with LAST record preservative, and demagnetized it with a Furutech DeMag.
The songs include: Magical Mystery Tour; The Fool on the Hill; Flying; Blue Jay Way; Your Mother Should Know; I am the Walrus; Hello Goodbye; Strawberry Fields Forever; Penny Lane; Baby You’re a Rich Man; and All You Need is Love.
