THE BEATLES - 'THE BEATLES No.1'
This 4-track EP is a UK early 1st pressing dating from November 1963 release on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8883
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK...' text but have 'The Parlophone Co...' rim texts.
An 'MKT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 764-1N & 7TCE 765-1N
Stamper codes: 1/H & 1/L
The disc is housed within a front laminated bi-flipback 'Garrod' (& Lofthouse) picture cover featuring an alternate shot from the 'Please, Please Me' LP cover session.

Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean, unworn set with just a handful of light spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole and even less around 1.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean playing surfaces which retain their deep-gloss shine with just a single 3mm mark on side 2 and some light marks consistent with sleeve removal. Close inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals some harmless wispy paper-type hairlines but little else of concern.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
Played carefully just a handful of times on good equipment, all tracks play cleanly and clearly with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion. I detetcted a handful of faint ticks on 'Chains' but apart from that, there is little to fault here.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & unworn example with a vibrant unscratched high-gloss front laminate which is free from any 'thumbnails' or indeed any other creasing or wear. There is a touch of foxing to the rear panel but it is otherwise clean & unblemished.
