Description
The much sought after Original UK release promo-only of The Beatles' first four 7" releases of Apple Records sent out to radiostations. The mythical "OUR FIRST FOUR" promotional package!
The "Our First Four" box-set was released in 1968 as a promo-only package to commemorate the launch of the APPLE label. It was manufactured in extremely limited amount of copies. with its thin paper/cardboard box, all four folders and all four records 45.
The four 7" singles included were the first four Apple issues:
"Hey Jude" by The Beatles (R 5722)
"Those Were The Days" by Mary Hopkin (APPLE 2)
"Sour Milk Sea" by Jackie Lomax (APPLE 3)
"Thingumybob" by The Black Dyke Mills Band (APPLE 4)
Each record has push-out centres and the overprint "Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists" on the record centres.
Can't put into words how truly RARE these are. Owning this will put you in the echelon of a handful of Beatles collectors who own such an incredibly important artifact of history. This full set has only sold once before on discogs!!!

The box is in good+ condition, definitely has a fair amount of wear but that's the usual condition these come in. All flaps are present. See pictured!.
Folders are great, nothing of harm to point out.
RECORD: EX (graded visually)
All four records are present and correct to this release. Visually they look very clean with no scratches, at most a few light hairlines that you'd expect for an Ex grade.
