This is a 1970 UK Parlophone issue Vinyl LP on the new design two EMI Box Logo Record labels, for The Beatles debut 1963 album release, ‘Please Please Me’.
The LP labels are on the newly designed BLACK AND SILVER TWO E.M.I. BOX PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and made in Gt Britain…’ label text.
The record labels are in beautiful Mint condition, bright and clean labels, showing no spindle lines.
Side 1& 2 matrices are the same as the original 1963 release, side 1, YEX 94-1 and Side 2: YEX 95-1.
Side 1 stampers: 2 PP and Side 2: 2 OT.
The Vinyl disc is of the same heavy quality to that of the 1963 release, and are in superb Mint Minus condition, super clean looking vinyl surfaces.
The album plays without faults throughout, in my opinion the sound quality matches that of the original 1963 stereo pressing.
The album comes in its EMI Made in Great Britain Advertising Inner Bag, and is an Excellent Plus example, no seam splits.
And is housed in its ORIGINAL Issue Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse **THREE** flip back sleeve.
The Front Laminated Picture sleeve is in super clean Mint Minus condition, the front panel is glossy with hardly a sign of record storage, the spine edge and other two edges are perfect.
The reverse panel of the sleeve is a three flipback design only available on the first pressings of this 2 EMI Box Issue, and is in super clean Mint Minus condition, a clean white back panel with just light handling signs to the opening edge.
