Description
The BEATLES Please Please Me Parlophone MONO PMC 1202
Side 1: XEX 421-1N (1 ROO) Side 2 XEX 422-1N (1 RPR)
A nice copy of a PPM from around 1965 with ‘Sold In U.K..’ statement across the labels.
Side 1 has KT embossed around the spindle holes and an extra dot ‘Sold in.U.K…. Both labels have some but not excessive spindle markings.
VG+ visual vinyl with a few superficial surface scratches and scuff marks.
Excellent audio. Playback with very minor background noise. Great, punchy, mono mix from 1963. You can still play this loud and clear. No skips!
The Garrod & Lofthouse tri-flipback cover with a small ‘mono’ on the front is in very good condition. The top right hand and left hand corners respectively (on the front and back) have a small rip along the top and about an inch of flipback is missing.
Apart from that for a nearly 50 year old cover it’s in pretty good shape with no ugly marks, stickers or writing.
The EMITEX (tracing paper) inner is intact with no rips or tears, just minor discolouration and creases.
