Description
Pressed in the summer of 1963. This is the first pressing on the black-yellow Parlophone label. Ernest J.Day & Co. front laminated cover, with large “mono” on front. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Parlophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print, but without “Recording first published 1963 WITH small 33 1/3 prefix and with MT tax code on the label. Tracing-rice-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 421-1N; Side 2: XEX 422-1N.
I DONT HAVE TO TELL YOU HOW COLLECTABLE THIS VINYL IS:
A lovely example. XEX 421-1N XEX422-1N, Vinyl has a JET BLACK LUSTRE with light marks & scuffs, the very light surface noise is limited to the run in and fade outs. The Sleeve is in very good condition with NO rips. Small written initial on the back and tape to where the record slides into the sleeve. This has infact stopped the sleeve from wearing. Original EMITEX inner sleeve, with tape to sides, as this split years ago.
I have owned this record for as long as I can remember and will compliment any collection.
