The Beatles - PAPERBACK WRITER / RAIN

An excellent original UK 1966 1st DEMO 7" single pressing on the Red/White Parlophone demo label.

Tax Code:

 KT clearly visible and embossed to side 2 label and also stamped to run off groove.

Vinyl: EX+. Virtually unplayed.

 

Labels: Near Mint. Lovely clean whites and reds. No writing or marks.

 

Sleeve: VGD+.  Period correct green & white Parlophone. Crisp with some minor creasing, one small tear on the reverse.

The red & white "A" label & demo labels to both sides are in excellent near mint condition.  The labels are perfect with no rubbing, fading, writing or other blemishes visible, the large red "A" is perfect and bold retaining its deep red colouring.

The glossy mirror like vinyl is outstanding. Close inspection under a bright light reveals only very slight surface marks on side 1.  The original playing surface is as pressed with no fading, rubbing or other blemishes. This has clearly received very few previous plays.

One carful play by myself reveals a flawless audio to both sides. There are no crackles, pops, jumps or skips.

Housed in the original green Parlophone sleeve, which is in good condition with only one small tear on the reverse.
