Description

• Up for sale is this original authentic 7” record of “Please Please Me” by The Beatles issued in Canada in 1963. According to Paul White, who was national promotion manager at the time at Capitol Records in Canada, the record bombed & only sold around 180 copies on the first pressings. This record has a matrix # of ‘7XCE-17217’, but does not list “Dick James” on the B side label. This is a late 1963 second pressing. Notice how the writing credits have “McCartney-Lennon” on both sides. The record is in very good condition with light play wear, but still plays fine all the way through. The matching original glossy matte Capitol Records of Canada company sleeve is also in very good condition. Thanks Frank
