The Beatles Please Please Me Mono 1st Press on Dick James' Parlophone matrix XEX421-1N and XEX422-1N stamps in the dead wax around the labels are side one 1-G and side two 1-R
Please look at photos 10, And 11 for letters . G and R. This translates as : 1st mother and first 1st stamper on side one, and first Mum and second stamper on side two , Making the album one of the first 300 mono pressed on the first day of production on the 22nd of March 1963 Those stamps are . The first ones on the first day of pressing in the U.K. The stereo version was pressed one month later than the mono 26 th April version on a different machine. The price of this pressing is reflected in its uniqueness . So I I have priced the album as it is not near/mint so I am asking half that price . This album will all ways go up in value. You are buying an investment that will give you much pleasure while you own it. This album will be sent by special delivery and signed for. this original LP features the classic tracks produced by Sir George Martin, in the black mono format, encapsulated in a cardboard sleeve. With its 12" size and very good plus (VG+) record grading there are cosmetic scuffs on both sides so visual grading is very good plus however the sound is excellent on both sides. Fully play tested . You will not be disappointed you have problems text me. I have taken lots of photos . The vinyl plays Excellent however I have graded as very good plus because of the cosmetic scuffs. The labels are excellent no writing. The cover is original first cover is excellent no writing The vinyl sleeve is original and comes with it. this release is first U.K. pressing and captures the essence of 1960s pop music in the United Kingdom, making it a must-have for any vinyl enthusiast looking to own a piece of Beatles history.
