Excellent Gift for the Vinyl Collector!!!!
Have confidence, I'm selling my own personal vinyl collection.
Most of my LP's remain unplayed and some are 1st pressings. I used to collect vinyl as I worked in a record shop and have hundreds of rare records.
I would urge you to look at my other listings as I have 100's of singles & LP's ranging from the 50's to the 90's in most genre's.
If you wish to purchase more than 1 LP, pop them in your basket and before you pay, request a total from me and I can combine postage for up to 2 LP's for £3.57p. This will save you money! Here we have my own Mono copy of The Beatles - Please Please Me It is a 12" vinyl LP, 33⅓ rpm with a solid centre. Published 1963 on the Parlophone Record Label, Cat No PMC 1202.
Internet research reveals this album to be an early 3rd pressing from summer 1963.
It is the first pressing type; on the vinyl is the black and yellow Parlophone label - Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Parlophone Co. Ltd” is printed at the start of the perimeter print. Does not have “Recording first published 1963″. With large 33 1/3 prefix and without KT tax code on the label. Ernest J. Day & Co. on front laminated cover with photo: Angus McBean, also with large “mono“ on front.
Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 421-1N; Side 2: XEX 422-1N.
The vinyl has quite a few light wispy minor surface blemishes on both sides as to be expected from a record of this age - test played and plays without issue - There is a name written on the £ sign on both labels - I have graded the vinyl as Very Good. The inner sleeve has some shelf wear and yellowing - graded Very Good+. The original Picture Sleeve has shelf edge wear, creasing, cellotape and age related staining - see pics. It is graded as Good+.Please read the grading system below and take note of the condition comments above!

Vinyl Grade - Please read.
MINT - Possibly unplayed - excellent condition through out!
NEAR MINT (NM): This record has the lightest of light surface scratches on the vinyl. It should play without any problem. EXCELLENT (EX): Minor scuffs which are visible. There may be more than a few scuffs. It should play without any problem!
VERY GOOD (VG): Record shows wear and / or surface scuffs. The vinyl still has great luster, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. The flaws may cause minor surface noise.
GOOD (G) Record has visible scratches / scuffs but plays without jumping / skipping.
FAIR (F) Record may jump or skip but worth having in the collection.
Cover & Sleeve Grade - Please Read.
MINT (M): No stickers, address labels, writing on the covers or labels. No tears or seam splits. No wear to the cover.
NEAR MINT (NM): The cover looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and/or age.
EXCELLENT (EX): Artwork is still fair. Some impression to the cover (minor outer ring wear), but no ink wear! Some creases to the corners, but not wrinkled and obtrusive to the eye.
VERY GOOD (VG): The artwork looks ok with slightly more aging. The back of the cover usually gives away the age of the cover. Flat white paper will be somewhat yellow, yet no stains or mildew from water damage. Some wear to the seams or spine, but no tears or holes popping through.
GOOD (G) Covers may have edge damage, may have creases in more than one place and yellowing.
FAIR (F) Covers have tears, edge and opening damage, ink marks / writing.
GOOD A few creases and minor tears.
