The Beatles - "Please Please Me"
1967
12" LP
Odeon Records
German pressing, RARE!
Vinyl: VG
Cover: VG+
Beatles completists, this is the gem you've been waiting for! Rare German pressing of "Please Please Me" (1967).
Description taken from this page:
"This rare edition of 'Please, Please Me' was pressed in Germany for export sales only.
This copy is particularly rare because it appears to be a later pressing from 1967. The first significant difference from the 1964 version is that the cover is not the usual thick card example with the paste-on back, but a 'normally' constructed sleeve of glossy card.
The second rare variation occurs in the run-out of side 1 where the matrix number is followed by 'X'.
The label on the disc is the same as the 1964 issue - a white, gold & red Odeon design with the catalogue number: ZTOX 5550
The text around the rim of the label begins: 'Alle Rechte...'"
The vinyl is in VG condition, and we're rating the cover sleeve as VG+ (there is a small stain on the back side, a few very small crease lines, and a little wear in the upper and lower right corners - all visible in photos below)
