Description
An original 2 EMI Box UK Original pressing of PPM On the Parlophone label. Matrix 1/1. Please note the perimeter text reads 'Gramophone' and this straight forwardly dates the Lp to 1973 [when LPs were still tube-cut]. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover without flipbacks.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks - bit nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with very good clarity. We could only detect a bit of static in the first two tracks on side 2. A very decent level of playback at an accommodating price.
Cover (Vg+) In very nice shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Nice shiny front with a couple of creases. The rear has escaped the worst of the usual ageing, but there is a touch in one or two spots. Edge wear is reasonably light and the text on the spine is still legible.
