Grading:-
Record VG - Please note, some visible marks on vinyl but plays through with no major problems.
Sleeve - VG - a small piece of writing on top of front cover. A white sticker on rear that could be easily removed with sticker remover.
The above do not detract from the scarcity of this highly collectable 1st pressing , 5 issue from late 1963
This was the Decca Contract cross over pressing from late 1963 to keep up with Christmas demand as denoted by the raised lable ring around the centre spindle.
Also has " Dick James Music " credited as publisher for track 7 , side one " Please Please Me "
Considering it's age and amount of play detected from the spindle marks and some visible surface marks this record plays incredibly well, close to mint playback for the majority of play, no major pops or jumps.
At 63 years old a good well looked after copy of this record with the flip back sleeve in great shape which will make a good addition to any collection at a sensible price.
