Additional Info: Probably 3rd/4th press and a rarer Ernest Day sleeve.

I've had a few questions about this so i'll answer as best I can:

- Visually the vinyl has quite a few light scratches

- Playback is very good, there is little distortion and sounds good, the only obvious distortion is in the title track 'Please Please Me' & 'Twist & Shout' . There is also background clicks/crackling throughout but this is mostly noticeable inbetween tracks.

- Ernest day Sleeve not sure what is acceptable for a sleeve thats 47 years old but my grading of good reflects the condition irrelevent of age.

-Matrix numbers are YEX 94-1/YEX 95-1

- After More research I have found out that this is the 4th Label Variation of this record [also known as the standard pressing] so would have been pressed up while still charting in 63

GRADINGS Please Read.

Mint: The record is in brand new condition and with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Any picture sleeve should in 'as new' condition as with any additional items.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played but with very little lessening in sound quality. The cover may have signs of slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good: The record has clearly been played many times, but shows no major deterioration in sound quality, noticable surface marks and occasional light scratch are acceptable with normal wear and tear to cover and any additional items.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticably deteriorated, distortion and mild scratches are to be expected and the cover will suffer from scuffing, folding, spine splits & discoloration.

All records are mailed in a stiff card envelope with card stiffener for added protection. So please bid with confidence.
