Description

This is a 1st issue mono pressing of the iconic Please Pleas Me vinyl Lp. (PMC 1202). Pressed in March 1963 the album has 14 original tracks by the Fab Four.

Sleeve shows sign of wear and tear as shown in photographs. This is the Ernest J. Day printed sleeve and has the early wrap around cover with straight cut corners. The word mono on front top right corner is in early large lower case type and the Angus McBean photo credit is in lower bottom right corner.

The disc is in good condition with some slight surface marks but is generally clean and with a bright playing surface. This disc has not been play tested so I can assume there may be some surface noise when played.

The early gold Parlophone labels show the incorrect Dick James Music Co publishing credits on 4 tracks, and curved Long Playing title on label. There is minor spindle wear and evidence of a previous owners address label? (Please see pics to help asses condition)

Matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N confirming its the earlier 1st issue pressing. Other stampers on disc are what appears to be 2 RG and 1 2 GL although they are a little difficult to read. The polythene lined inner sleeve has some torn edges and paper creases (again see photo please).

There is no reserve and a low starting bid. Postage is for UK only and will be sent securely packaged and with a signed for delivery service. Thanks for looking and best of luck if you bid.
