Description
** We have recently acquired a nice collection of Beatles albums and singles, all originally purchased by the same person when the records were released. Please feel free to check our other Beatles auctions, there are some nice early pressings and Fan Club Christmas singles as well. We always combine shipping costs! **
The fifth photograph on this auction shows all eight Beatles albums that we are currently auctioning, this is to give you an idea of the condition of the sleeve spines, which are generally excellent. This auction if for just one of those albums:

Matrix Numbers : XEX 605-2 [stamper: 1 , OP] / XEX 606-2 [stamper: 4 , MO]
Notes : 2nd Mono Pressing with black & yellow Parlophone labels with 'The Gramophone Co.' text around the rims and 'Sold In UK...' text across label centres, 'K T' tax code embossed on the side-2 label, front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve with small black 'Mono' text in top right corner, plain white inner sleeve, .
Condition : the vinyl is EX with some very light hairline marks or scuffs visible when held to the light, we have played through the whole album and it sounds really nice - a couple of low-level crackles in places and a couple of small ticks, and maybe some minor distortion during louder moments. A really good sounding disc.
The labels are clean and unworn with some spindle marking to the centres. The plain white inner sleeve shows some light wear from use.
The outer sleeve is clean and glossy with a little corner rubbing/wear, there are only very minor signs of any wear to the opening edge, and the text on the spine is completely unworn. There is a two-inch centre split to the top of the sleeve, but this is a very thin split and is hardly noticeable. The matt surface to the rear shows only minor wear.
A very nice example of this classic Beatles album.
