SLEEVE (VG)

Front laminated flipback picture sleeve Garrod & Lofthouse triple foldback sleeve. 56 years old but the face still bright and shiny and the back is

clean and unmarked by pen etc.,There is some front face laminate creasing and top and bottom corner /open edge and spine damage, as will be

noted from the photographs.The text credit DR. ROBERT is on the sleeve (whereas the LP label has been changed to DOCTOR ROBERT).

Small mono logo on the front. The track listing text has the lead singer after the song and composer credit.

INNER SLEEVE (VG)

Inner sleeve is original Emitex sepia advertising, the LP number is written in biro ( a practice I recall where record dealers would remove the LP and

sleeve from the racks and display the sleeve only). Has some slight creasing otherwise, very good condition - MADE IN ENGLAND printed bottom

right of sleeve.

VINYL (EX)

Label Identifier: There is a difference on this third pressing, compared with later versions, e.g The PARLOPHONE label is black & yellow with perimeter

rim copyright text beginning,'THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD' and the text, “SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS”

on record label.The latter being being omtted from later pressings.The LP label text also lists the lead singer before the composer credit.

VINYL - Visual and Play Graded - Disc very clean both sides with some slight wispy surface lines. Very little spindle marks on labels. With the exception

of barely noticeable clicks on trk.1 Side 1 and trks. 1 & 3 Side 2, The audio is clear and crisp. This is one of my favourite albums in my Beatles collection and

after 50 years since last played, it was sheer delight to listen to, with and without headphones.

The Album will be sent within a strong Vinyl Protector 520 Gauge LP Polythene Plastic Sleeve, over the cardboard sleeve, with

the vinyl Discs enclosed in High Grade Plastic Polypropylene Inner Class Record Sleeves (for better protection and longer

life of the vinyl), together with the original inner sleeve, and sent within a good quality cardboard LP mailer.

All items are packed well and are the responsibility of Royal Mail once in their hands.

If on the rare occasion they do go missing I'll help all I can to locate the missing item,

i.e. produce certificate of posting, complete a lost mail form etc,

Grading from UK RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING GUIDE

MINT (M): The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

V.GOOD (VG): Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR (F):The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR (P): The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

VINYL

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. d.
