Description
This is The Beatles 1966 super hit Lp REVOLVER. It is an import from Germany on the EMI ODEON HOR ZU ELECTROLA label # SHZE 186. Please note that this Lp is the AMERICAN VERSION of the Lp and not the one from the U.K. George Harrison always said that he thought that this Lp plus Rubber Soul were so similar that they could have been made into a double album. This album cover is in great condition but, because of the thinness of the album cover (the Europeans made their covers thinner than the USA plus coated them so they wouldn't wear out as fast) you can see the outline of the record when held an an angle in the light. There is also a very minor nick in the lower right corner on the front cover. The back cover shows the outline from the record clearer but ,hey, the back cover is jet black and will show any flaw regardless of age. And this Lp is 45 years old so I think that's looking really good for its age. The spine is in excellent condition. The vinyl may have a few marks on it from sliding in and out of the inner sleeve but like I said...45 years old. What I find really fascinating is the inner sleeve itself that shows all the other artists that were on the HOR ZU label at that time from operas to rock and roll like: Ray Charles, The Mamas & The Papas, The Beach Boys, and others. I think this would be an interesting addition for any Beatles collector out there. ( I appologize for the shakey pictures of the back cover and record label but it should give you a good idea of what I'm selling).
