Description
The Beatles - Rubber Soul, 1st -1-1 'Loud Cut' UK Press, Parlophone, PMC 1267, Mono. December 3rd, 1965.
1st pressing with -1/-1 matrix endings from 1965 cut hot for maximum effect to deranged teenagers by the one and only Harry Moss but quickly re-cut to address sales returns due to cheap Dansette record players skipping. Highly collectable and sought-after. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' printed at the start perimeter print and 'Sold in U.K.' text. Tracing-paper-lined 'Use Emitex' die-cut inner sleeve. With or without KT tax code on the label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 579-1; Side 2: XEX 580-1.

CONDITION:
The Disc
The disc sits completely flat on the turntable with no warping or dishing. In good natural light the record looks glossy and clean without and obvious marks or scratches. When viewed under strong direct halogen spotlight under closer inspection one very small mark can be seen on side two. A superb example, EXCELLENT PLUS!
The Audio
A fantastic listening experience. Quiet lead-ins and between tracks. No disturbance from obtrusive pops, clicks, or crackle. Clearly no skips or sticks in this condition, EXCELLENT PLUS!
The Sleeve
The sleeve is in lovely condition, glossy clean front with no ring wear, fully readable spine without wear and clean matte back, a few light short crease lines at the spine only. EXCELLENT PLUS!
The Inner
Original EMITEX tracing paper lined inner sleeve. No splits, rips or stains, and lining is fully intact. EXCELLENT PLUS!
