Description

I’ve gone into the vault (closet) and found more records to bring out and auction off as I downsize my collection. I discovered additional duplicates, so please check my other auctions for more vinyl that may be of interest to you.

In this auction:

·       “SING A SONG WITH THE BEATLES Instrumental Background Re-creations of Their Big Hits”

·       This is Tower Records KAO-5000.

·       This is a MONO PRESSING.

·       It was released in 1965.

·       This LP has instrumental background re-creations of 11 Beatles hits.

·       The GATEFOLD COVER has lyrics and chord symbols to sing along with the music. Also printed inside the gatefold is a chart showing the finger positions for all chords listed.

·       The Beatles songs included in this LP are listed on the front cover.

·       What makes this LP unique and collectible is the fact that it has GREAT IMAGES of the BEATLES on the COVER.

·       Photographic images of the Beatles were highly protected under licensing and copyright regulations/restrictions. Therefore, (except in VERY rare cases) all Beatles LP and picture sleeve covers in the U.S. with their photographic images were Vee Jay Records, Capitol Records or Apple Records pressings.

·       Tower Records, as a subsidiary of Capitol Records, was permitted to use their images on the cover of this LP due to its Capitol Records relationship. (Also, United Artists could use their images on the “A Hard Day’s Night” LP cover, since UA produced the film and contractually had the right to produce the soundtrack.)

·       THE LP COVER is in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION. The primarily white cover is in NICE and CLEAN CONDITION!!! (Check the images!!!)

·       The VINYL IS VERY STRONG VG CONDITION with some light surface hairlines/scuffs. There are no “feelable” scratches.

·       This is definitely a hard-to-find LP these days in VERY NICE CONDITION!

FYI: I use the COVER/SLEEVE GRADES and RECORD GRADES listed and described on page 8 of Perry Cox’s Price Guide for the Beatles American Records. These are: Good+ (G+), Very Good Minus (VG-), Very Good (VG), Very Good+ (VG+), Near Mint Minus or Very Good++ (NM- or VG++), Near Mint (NM), Mint Minus (M-), and Mint (M or MT) to VISUALLY grade the 45s and picture sleeves I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding. Please ask any questions BEFORE bidding. And please check my other auctions for MORE LPs you may want to add to your collection. Be high bidder on several and combine shipping on auction items that finish on the same day. Winning bidder must remit payment within 5 days after auction close by PayPal. Add $4.00 for shipping to a U.S. address with tracking.
