Description

I’m putting up for auction more BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVES that I’ve had for a while. So, if you want to begin a collection of Beatles Singles Picture Sleeves, you may want to check out my other auctions, too.

In this auction is 1 Beatles Picture Sleeve without a vinyl record.

Here are the details:

·       “LEAVE MY KITTEN ALONE” b/w “OB LA DI OB LA DA (Alternate Version)” by The Beatles

·       This is a PICTURE SLEEVE issued by Capitol Records for an UNRELEASED 45 rpm single RECORD.

·       This is the Picture Sleeve for Capitol Records B-5439. No vinyl record is in this auction.

·       This picture sleeve was scheduled to be released with the 45 RPM single on January 31, 1985.  However, the release was cancelled for legal reasons.

·       According to Perry Cox, the A-Side was to preview the “SESSIONS” LP, which was also cancelled. The recordings intended for the “SESSIONS” LP were later used in the Anthology project.

·       Approximately 1500 of these unreleased sleeves were discovered in 1984.

·        The PICTURE SLEEVE is in NEAR MINT CONDITION.

·       IT’S A NICE and HARD-TO-FIND BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVE TO ADD TO YOUR BEATLES’ VINYL COLLECTION!!

(Thanks to Perry Cox’s Price Guide for the Beatles American Records for information about this record.)

FYI: I use the COVER/SLEEVE GRADES and RECORD GRADES listed and described on page 8 of Perry Cox’s Price Guide for the Beatles American Records. These grading Good+ (G+), Very Good Minus (VG-), Very Good (VG), Very Good+ (VG+), Near Mint Minus or Very Good++ (NM- or VG++), Near Mint (NM), Mint Minus (M-), and Mint (M or MT) to VISUALLY grade the 45s and picture sleeves I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
