The Beatles "Rarities" vinyl LP, released in 1980 by Capitol Records, SHAL-12060. This gatefold LP is in mint condition, still sealed in the original shrink wrap, and has the original sticker on the cover saying "Contains Rare Photos Including Butcher Shot." This is the 2nd edition of "Rarities" which says "Produced by George Martin" on the back and corrects the "Helter Skelter" description about "the classic Lennon statement." Inside are rare photos, including the famous "Butcher Shot" that was going to be the original cover of the Beatles' "Yesterday and Today" LP. This album contains rare and alternate versions of such classic Beatles' songs as "Love Me Do" (with Ringo on drums), "And I Love Her" (with the extended guitar riff at the end), the single version of "Help," "Penny Lane" (with the extra horn riff at the end), a mono version of "Helter Skelter," the original version of "Across The Universe," and more.
