Description
The Beatles Revolver Dr. Robert Stereo PCS7009 1st Press Record VG+ Play Tested
Extremely rare STEREO 1st pressing including the mispressed 'Dr. Robert' on both the vinyl and the sleeve. The stampers are extremely early and could have been a first day issue. This is the variation A with each song starting on a new line on the labels, song credits followed by the lead vocalist.
Matrix Numbers: -1 / -1
Mother & Stampers: 1 RR / 3 RT
This vinyl has been play tested on a Rega RP1 and graded using Record Collector Grading System.
Record & Labels.
Overall graded VG-. Shiny record with some fine surface marks, and a couple of more prominent scratches, as pictured. The main issue with this is that it has a small sun bleach spot to the side of the record. When played on side 1, this has very little effect. The start of Taxman, where the talking is, results in a couple of small 'pops', but once the music comes in, it is not noticeable. However, when played on side 2, the record skips unless 'helped along' manually. This happens for about 1 minute on the first song. Had this not had this issue, this record would easily be graded EX/EX+. It is a very clean example.
Outer Sleeve
Overall graded EX. Extremely good condition cover, with very little to report. There are no tears or splits to the spine and the corners are in really good condition. The pictures below should tell the story.
Inner Sleeve
EX+ Original Emitex.
