Description

An original 2nd press of Revolver on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 2/2. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Ernest J Day cover. Also included is the original 'patents' white inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) Has seen light to moderate use, but thanks to the heavy 60's pressing still delivers some great audio. Under close inspection do expect a few marks either side. We could only find one that was vaguely feelable - none of them are problematic as this baby was built to last. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and are relatively quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minor. All we detected was a touch of static in a couple of tracks [e.g. Rigby] - and even this pretty minor. These early 60's pressing are by far the best way to take in this album. A really superb rendition that will enable you to fully appreciate this masterpiece.
Cover (Ex-) That iconic image is in great condition and well above most other examples you find these days. Yes, there are some signs of ageing, but its pretty minor in the grand scheme of things. The rear is in great condition with only the lightest of handling wear. Edge wear is very minor and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Very little ageing. NO splits.
