Description

An original 2nd press of Revolver from 1966. Matrix 2/2. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Ernest J Day cover. Won't be suitable for purists, but a perfectly decent player at sensible price>>
Vinyl (Vg) In reasonable condition despite having seen an, at least, moderate level of use. If you're someone who's going to find a lot of markings unpalatable - then probably best give this one a miss. If you're ok to overlook a good few markings, and a few semi-feelable ones, to bag a cheaper copy - then read on. Playback varies between VG & VG+ with a couple of deviations. Side 1 - mostly VG+. Side 2 - mostly VG. Many tracks play VG+ with only a few background crackles. Some of the tracks on side 2 exhibit a bit more crackle in places. It's more noticeable in "I Want To Tell You" & "GTGYIML" - but most of the rest is more lower level type stuff. A couple of clicks in 'For No One' and one pop in 'Submarine', and a few ticks in the second half of TNK's. Clearly it won't suit a purist. But someone who wants an OK playing original copy at a good price -  might be interested.
Cover (Vg) In very nicely preserved condition and the harder to find Ernest J Day version. There's a bit of ageing exhibiting in places - most notable on the spine edge. The cover does lie very nice and flat with barely any creasing. Edge wear is light and the text on the spine is all legible. But do remember the spine edge is aged. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
