Description

Many Beatles LP’s are auctioned … but few of the prized MONO series.  Here find The Beatles’ "Revolver" LP, first US pressing in glorious MONO:

The Beatles:  “Revolver”  (Capitol T-2576)      MONO

(black label w/ rainbow colorband)

Vinyl:  VG+   (play graded)

High gloss on wax.

Surface scratches/scuffs present but audible only between tracks and during a few quiet passages.  Exceptional sound quality on this well recorded album.

Labels are clean and bright.

Spindle marks present but barely detectable.         (see photos)

Jacket:  VG+

Front jacket photo is clean and bright.  Modest ring wear on back.

Top and bottom seams show some wear and 1/4 inch split at corners.

Spine is worn and spine seam is mostly split.       (see photo)

Includes original inner sleeve in excellent condition.

A fine copy of this Beatles classic from 1966, featuring the prized mono mixes.  The rhythm section sound is exceptional, the bass solid and powerful, the drums crisp and distinct.  I personally much prefer the mono mixes to the stereo ones and they sound wonderful here on the original wax.

My Profile / Policies:

Music is my passion.  I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll.  Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.

All records I offer are from my personal collection, each cleaned using my Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning Machine.

All are play graded (not just visually graded), employing Goldmine Price Guide standards.

As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.

All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.

Payment expected within 3 business days of auction closing.
