Description

The Beatles Revolver Mono 1966 withdrawn first pressing

XEX 606-1

This is the first UK pressing of Revolver released so I'm told for 1 day in August 1966 until they realised they had pressed the wrong version of Tomorrow Never Knows known as Remix 11, it was then recalled and repressed with the correct version. This record contains the accidentally released version which is unavailable on any other official release by The Beatles

Record plays through with no skips or jumps. There is some background crackle, but the music is too loud for this to be noticed other than between tracks. Under good light you can see plenty of surface marks but nothing that affects the play and no deep scratches

Sleeve has some creasing, discolouration and there is a name written on the back. Flipback sleeve is intact, but a piece of the fron laminate has torn off (see photos)
