In This Auction: 

·       “REVOLVER” by the Beatles  

·       This LP is Capitol Records ST - 2576.

·       This is a STEREO Pressing.

·       This LP was issued August 8, 1966.

·       This LP is a FIRST PRESSING STEREO COPY. This is confirmed by the labels. First run labels credit the songs to “Lennon-McCartney”. Later pressings credit the songs to “John Lennon-Paul McCartney”.

·       The COVER is a Capitol-marked cover and the cover cardboard construction with the front cover slick overlapping the rear slick is the correct cover to go with this 1966-pressed vinyl. The cover has NO NUMBER printed at lower right of the rear cover which indicates this to be a cover issued with vinyl pressed at Capitol’s Scranton plant from 1964 through 1966.

·       Capitol Records used added symbols to designate the plant that pressed its vinyl. The VINYL has the triangle-shaped marking in the trail-of wax which confirms that the vinyl was ALSO pressed in Capitol’s Scranton Plant. Thus, the COVER contains the CORRECT VINYL pressing.

·       NOTE: Some sellers will switch vinyl and covers either intentionally or accidentally in order to create a mismatched near mint item to sell. I don’t do that. This is the correct cover paired with the correct vinyl for this pressing/issue.

·       The COVER is graded NEAR MINT. It is STILL in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. The shrink wrap is nice and tight on the cover. There is a tiny corner push on the bottom right corner. There is a very small tear in the shrink wrap on the reverse near the top center.

·       The VINYL is in NICE VG+ CONDITION with just a few very light surface hairlines/scuff and lots of gloss.

·       This LP comes with its ORIGINAL ORANGE CAPITOL INNER SLEEVE with a 3-inch split on 1 side. This orange inner sleeve is the CORRECT CAPITOL RECORDS INNER SLEEVE that was issued with this stereo “REVOLVER” LP in August of 1966.  

·       This is a NICE ORIGINAL 1966 1st PRESSING STEREO of this BEATLES LANDMARK LP to add to your vinyl collection!
