This EXCELLENT 1966 UK 2nd MONO pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both label include the 'Sold in UK...' text, with a 'KT' purchase tax code on the side 2 label.
The side 2 label carries the earliest 'Dr. Robert' spelling.
Matrices: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-2
Stamper codes: 6/ROGP & 5/RGA
Vinyl weight: 161g
Housed in a 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed front laminated, tri-flipback mono cover.
Complete with its original black & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT
This well looked-after, little played disc is clean & unworn and without any significant or major visual/audible faults.
Both playing surfaces are very clean and retain their deep-gloss factory shine with just one or two very light fingernail scuffs on each side but no scratches or similar blemishes. All tracks play as they should with the only distractions noted being some low-level vinyl background between tracks and a couple of ticks in the band between tracks 1 & 2 on side 2. A respectable example of this classic.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A strong and bright example which retains an excellent whiteness to its high-gloss front panel which is free from any 'thumbnail' wrinkles. The only issue of note is some foxing towards the slightly bruised lower left corner and a little on the opening edge. The rear panel is clean, black and without any trace of ringwear. Again, there is a little discolouration to the edge of the lower flipback but all are in-place and both seams and the spine are in perfect condition.
