 THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'

This superb UK 2nd MONO pressing dates from late 1966 on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7009


Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-2

Stamper codes: 4/RDP & 5/GLO

Vinyl weight: 157g


Housed within a front laminated, 'Ernest J. Day' printed mono cover, complete with original 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.


CONDITION

Disc: EXCELLENT +

This great sounding disc has received just minimal careful play on quality equipment. All tracks play clearly and clearly with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion or any clicks, pops or other such distractions. Even the delicate tracks such as 'Eleanor Rigby' & 'Here, There & Everywhere' play without fault. Each label is clean with minimal spindlewear and both playing surfaces are glossy & unworn with just a couple of light inner-sleeve removal marks on side 2. A copy which will not disappoint.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A fine clean & strong example of this rarer cover variant, with its distinctive slightly textured front panel laminate which is totally unworn with no 'thumbnails'. The only trace of wear is a little shelfwear bend to the lower right corner only.  The rear panel is clean bearing just a faint disc impression behind John's head from storage, but no writing or missing paper. Both seams are fully intact and the spine is clean & unworn.
