Here is an EXCELLENT UK MONO 2nd pressing of their essential seventh studio album dating from late 1966.
On the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-3
Stamper codes: 6/HD & 2/AM
Vinyl weight: 156g
Housed in the rarer front-laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed mono cover.
Complete with original 'Patents Applied For' plain white inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT -
Both playing surfaces are extremely clean & retain all of their deep-gloss factory shine. There are a few light surface scuffs & wispy paper hairlines on side 1 but nothing we would call a scratch anywhere. Side 2 is immaculate. Audibly clean & warm thoughout with no groove/playwear and just a trace of the usual low-level vinyl background on 'Here, There & Everywhere'. There are no clicks, pops, jumps or any other such faults or distractions anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean & fully intact with little more than a few 'thumbnail' and spine wrinkles to show for its 50 years. There is slight toning towards the opening edge but no damage or wear to the edges themselves and all corners are sharp and unbumped. The exposed rear panel is clean & unblemished with the only trace of wear being a very faint ring mark behind John's head. All flipbacks are intact, as are both seams and the fully worded spine.
